Our response to Climate Change

As a church we believe that God calls us to care for creation and for all the people’s of the world. This means that climate change is an issue that we as a church cannot ignore. It’s a matter of justice. We are committed to going on a a journey to grow both as individuals and as church family in how we care for the planet and seek the well-being of our natural world.

As part of the journey we have recently been awarded a Bronze Eco Church Award by A Rocha. This award scheme encourages and celebrates churches who are seeking to make caring for the earth a key part of their Chritsian Faith. You can find out more about this scheme here: https://ecochurch.arocha.org.uk/
